I would like to give an A+ to Anita. I was at the store this morning because my glasses were broken She kindly took her time to repair them. Her warm smile made me feel comfortable. Lens Crafters gets only 1 star based on they do make good glasses. I'd give them zero stars if I could based on billing practices. They do not have good billing practices. I have 2 different vision insurance policies. One connected with Network Health through EyeMed. Then a separate EyeMed policy that covers more of what Network Health doesn't. They refused to bill to 2 different policies. What I found out today. They were supposed to make 2 claims. One to the one connected to Network Health for like my frames. Then a second claim to the other EyeMed insurance policy for my lenses. Which they did not offer to do. They just told me they can't bill 2 different insurances. I went around in circles all day today. Now I'm out over 200$ that Network Health's vision plan would have paid. I'll be spreading the word of Lens Crafters billing practices. Now I got the link to customer care. I got email that something was going to the store location I used. Why? So they can tell me again they can't help me. I filled out the form anyways. I'll fight this to the bitter end. Yes they called me today. To tell me they can't help me. I get nothing back. They can't bill 2 separate insurances for one pair of glasses. Even though my insurance said they should bill one insurance for frames and the other for lenses. Stay far away from this place. I found out Wisconsin Vision is able to bill to 2 insurance policies on the same order. Next time going there.
I had a fantastic experience at LensCrafters! Booking an appointment online was incredibly easy, and I was able to snag a spot just 30 minutes before walking through the door. The entire staff was friendly and helpful from start to finish. A special shout-out to Dr. Scott Schumacher, OD—he is officially my favorite! He is incredibly down-to-earth and took the time to explain everything to me. I highly recommend this location!
Anita is so great!!! I have come back to see her 3 years in a row. She’s extremely knowledge, helpful and friendly. She helped me pick out the best glasses for me. She made sure I got the best deal with my insurance and always is a pleasure to work with! I will always come back here for her!
I had a really great experience during the eye exam portion of our visit. The pre-screen technician who helped my daughters was absolutely amazing, so warm, friendly, and patient. She made both of my girls feel completely comfortable from start to finish, which I really appreciated. I wish I could remember her name because I would gladly recommend her to anyone. The doctor was also fantastic, very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. She took the time to explain everything in a way that made sense, so I fully understood what was going on with my both of my girls eyes. Based on the exam alone, I would definitely return to this location. Unfortunately, the experience afterward didn’t match the same level of care. When it came time to discuss glasses, it felt like everything possible was automatically added to the lenses without any real conversation about options or preferences. There wasn’t much effort to ask what I actually wanted or needed, and the final price for two children’s glasses was extremely high so I went online to LensCrafters to order their glasses from there again. Overall, the exam itself was excellent, but the sales process afterward could definitely use improvement.
