A great place to worship and fellowship. A great community of people who are loving and welcoming and the pastor Steve Rodgers is a very friendly, helpful, and dedicated man of God.

Typical Pentecostal church. I got to meet the minister before the service began, and there seemed to be a pretty good open dialogue between the staff and the members of the church. Plus the sign outside always has something funny to say. They don't pressure people to donate too much and the church itself seems to be on the smaller side, despite the land it occupies being very large. Everything seems up-kept however.

One of my best friends died, it was an absolutely beautiful service. I have been there a couple times before,the services were really great God really moved. He really did something good in there for me. And one more thing, when they take the offering, they don't stand their begging for money like a lot of churches I've been to.

Elim is definitely the kind of church America needs right now. It's congregation is made up of many different races and backgrounds from lawyers to ex-convicts, and single mothers to nuclear families. Elim makes a strong effort to give to the needy in the area through their food pantry and inner city outreach, without the "savior complex" many helpful people have.
