Dan Jansen Park is a city park in Greenfield. We offer a renovated playground, baseball/softball fields, and a shelter with restrooms. In 1994, the park was dedicated to Olympic speedskating gold medalist Dan Jansen, and features a 50-foot gold flagpole as a centerpiece. Our park includes a lighted walkway, and the playground surface was updated in 2000 for greater accessibility. Recent additions include four pickleball courts and a parking lot with shade structures, benches, and picnic tables for community recreation.

I like this park. We did mini golf just as the band starting playing. The bar area inside had a lot of retro games and furniture. Cool vibe!

I had hoped they would put out a few picnic tables or benches to sit and enjoy the park or watch the children play. But now they are building a pickleball court and a parking lot. I live close by, hope it's not too noisy and made usable for everyone to enjoy.

Parks with playgrounds are my kids' biggest thrills! Always have been, for all of them! I love the new playset and judging by the amount of kids that joined us while there, we're not the only ones. I'm sure we'll be back!
