Outstanding professionalism. I had the same dentist for years he never recognized or advised me of some dental issues I had. After seeing Dr. Cigno he not only advised me of the issues I had but corrected them and after years of dealing with pain with hot and cold liquids. I can now eat or drink anything without pain. If you want quality dental care, Dr. Cigno is the one for you.
I had an incredibly upsetting and unprofessional experience at this office. During my visit, the dentist did not wear a mask while working directly over my open mouth, and was spitting and burping while speaking. More concerningly, the dentist made several sexually suggestive comments and "compliments" to his staff and I that were entirely inappropriate for a medical setting. I also experienced physical contact that felt non-clinical and made me extremely uncomfortable. He also exhibited a very short temper when I asked questions. I am reporting this to the State Dental Board. Please be cautious before booking an appointment here, especially if you are seeking a safe and professional environment.
I’ve been seeing Dr. Cigno for about 20 years, and I can honestly say he’s the best dentist I’ve ever had. Over the years, I’ve had cleanings, braces, and various dental work done, and every experience has been excellent. Dr. Cigno is skilled, caring, and always takes the time to make sure I’m comfortable and informed. His staff is just as wonderful — friendly, professional, and always welcoming.
I wanted to leave an overdue review of Dr. Cigno and his inappropriate behavior with patients as well as his staffs customer service. I've been a long time patient of the office sense I was 14, I'm now in my 20s, I've had teeth cleanings, braces, and a small procedure as a minor that went well, the front desk and hygienists were always very kind and friendly up until today. The hygienist that did my teeth cleaning was very cold and impatient, it was a bother when I asked questions or asked her to repeat herself because I didn't hear her, or understand what she had said. The other issue I've had with the office is with the Dr. Himself, when I was younger my sister and I would come in at the same time and she'd go into one room and I'd go into another, my mom would normally stay with my little sister while I was on my own sense I was older. When ever I'd be in for my braces or cleaning Dr. Cigno would always touch my legs or shoulders and call me "sweetheart","sweetie","cutie",or "beautiful". My family always just took this behavior as overly friendly and brushed it off, but I always found it uncomfortable and flirty. Dr. Cigno also always leaned up against the table while working which would cause his stomach or groin to be touching my head, shoulders or arm, I never thought it was intentional until today. I was always creeped out by this behavior as a minor and would come up with excuses not to go back to the dentist as a kid. I brushed this behavior off over the years and pushed off going back, I'd not been back sense getting my teeth cleaned at 17, when the same behavior persisted, today I went back almost 4 years later and he rested up against me said that I'm "just as cute as ever" and that he missed seeing me, and to come back in 3 months for another cleaning. I got into my car and cried for over an hour after the appointment ended because I knew that I wasn't wrong for being uncomfortable as kid and I'm not wrong for it now. I read through all of the other Google reviews and saw that there are other families and individuals that experienced the same behavior and also deamed it inappropriate and incorrect. I'd put off my oral health for years because I was uncomfortable, and my cavities have gotten worse, I'll be advocating for myself by not only finding a new practice but leaving a review so that other families can make the best decisions for themselves and their kids.
Absolutely the best experiences I've ever had at a dentist. As a natural redhead, I've had nothing but awful experiences my whole life. Dr. Cigno and staff worked with my horrible anxiety. They go out of their way to make you feel relaxed. Warm blankets, dark glasses, etc. I will never go anywhere else now that I found Cigno Dental. I highly recommend. Especially if you have fear or anxiety towards Dental work.
