Had the opportunity to work with Bluemel's Garden & Landscape Center recently -- fantastic experience! Worked with Carlos the Landscape GURU ... extremely professional and knowledgeable with all things having to do with my project. The initial consultation, the written proposal and the actual installation process went smoothly. Also, a big shout out to foreman Jonathan and his "able bodied crew" -- they were fantastic and worked non-stop throughout the day. I am SO VERY HAPPY with the end result -- it's exactly what I wanted and expected!!! I would definitely recommend this business to anyone.

I wish I could give zero stars. My sweet senior neighbors have hired Bluemel's to cut their lawn for many years. They bring these big commercial mowers into a tiny city lot and hack things up cutting as short as they can so they can cut less often. Each year I have to call to complain about damage to my yard because the employees have no clue where lot lines are. This year has been the absolute worst. They often come 6+ feet into my yard, scalp the lawn, ride through a landscape bed. It's almost unbelievable. I call and eventually reach Bluemel's management. They say what I want to hear, say they will handle it and it won't happen again, but nothing changes. 7/15: Thank you for your response. Our lot lines could not be more basic - just a simple MKE city lot. Always has been straight east to west following the telephone pole and rock bed edge between the houses installed by you previously up to the lot line. You've been working with this client for 10+ years year round for all things yard care. I have added pictures of proof of low deck cutting and terrible cut lines. Let me know if you would be okay with this if you were me? I doubt it. It is just grass, but also incredible disrespect to private property and lack of training for your workers. We have hired bluemels twice for bigger projects The first time, it was for grading of our yard. The second, for landscaping. When they came to quote landscaping, they told me that “whoever did the grading didn’t do a good job!” And I had to tell them it was them. Rather than revise it , they actually just gave a discount to basically do it again. It was cheaper than hiring another company flat out, so we ended up using them but it was incredibly frustrating that this wouldn’t be covered as a mistake of theirs. Even they said that it wasn’t a good job.j Fast forward to landscaping. They put our perennials in late in the year. We got sprinklers and regularly watered them. They told me verbally that they would be replaced if they didn’t come back, but in the contract it says they’re not. None of the flowers came back. I was told on the phone it was because I didn’t water them, but I can assure you that we gave plenty of water. I’m not someone who is quick to leave a bad review, as I’m a business owner myself. Overall, I’m not super pleased with the customer service. Had it just been the flowers, that would be one thing. I was frustrated that I told they were under warranty, but I can’t prove verbal words. I can understand a contract. Having to pay 600 to revise their original mistake is wrong. it seems like they are unwilling to admit where they may have made errors and correct them I love their garden center, and buy from them often. I’m just not sure I’d hire them again for landscaping unfortunately

A number of years ago, Bluemels put in a brick walkway for us. There was a flower bed between the walkway and the house. They dumped the remaining crushed rock and stone in the flower bed between the house and walkway. They covered this crushed rock and stone with 2 inches of dirt. This mixture turned into a cement like hard mixture. Each year we struggle to plant flowers in this bed. Today my husband had to use a pick ax to try to dig a hole for a flower. Using this flower bed has been a nightmare ever since they installed the walkway.

Tyler, Javier and crew did an amazing job on our project! We appreciate all the work you guys put in! There is a reason why we use Bluemels. This was our third time and the pictures speak for themselves. Thanks for a job well done.
