In 2011 I received a medical diagnosis that was hard to ignore. I was told that I had Young Onset Parkinson’s. Since then I have found great medical care through Froedtert, unwavering support from my family and friends along with outstanding, challenging and motivating instruction for ballroom dancing. Currently, my husband and I receive our dance instruction and support from the instructors at The Magic of Dance, Kristina, Nikita, and Danila. When I arrive for my lesson, my dance teachers provide me with the instruction that will challenge me for the day. Danila and Nikita understand my physical limitations, but do not allow that to interfere with our expectations for great dancing. Every six months when I have my check up at Froedtert, I have been able to bring a smile to the faces of my medical team by demonstrating that I can maintain my skills from dancing. I encourage anyone with a physical limitation to visit the Magic of Dance and feel the same support and feedback along with having a lot of fun!

After losing my husband to cancer, getting into ballroom dancing was the best decision I made. For me, it's challenging and rewarding, but it's also whatever you want it to be (stick to easy or challenge yourself with something beyond your comfort zone). Not only did I find a great dance instructor, but I have found wonderful people and have made many friends at The Magic of Dance studio. The Magic has an amazing group of people on their staff who truly care about their students. I highly recommend giving dancing a try at The Magic of Dance studio 🥰.

Beautiful dance studio. The owners are kind, friendly and respectful. The teachers are extremely enthusiastic and very knowledgeable.
