Went on fish fry Friday. Fun and lively. VERY competent staff. They get it all done efficiently with a smile. Feisty bartenders, but in a good way. Everyone enjoyed their fish whether it was the broiled haddock, beer battered walleye or the breaded perch. The home made potato pancakes with a heavy onion influence were the proverbial cherry on the top. Our server Matilda was "on it." We were all impressed.
Our server forgot about us multiple times. Another waitress had to step in on multiple occasions. I was sat next to the bar and heard the bartender speaking rudely. The food was horrible. I ordered cheese curds and a Philly cheese steak. The cheese curds came out very overcooked and tasted horrible as result. As someone who’s worked in a kitchen… it’s not hard to cook them correctly… The Philly cheese steak was the most BLAND steak dish I’ve ever taken a bite of. For the prices listed on the menu… I thought the food would be delicious. I was extremely disappointed to find out eating at home would’ve tasted much better and been much cheaper. Overall I had a really bad experience, I would not recommend eating here. I’ve heard good things about this place in the past so don’t know if the management is undergoing changes, or just the staff needs a complete change, but again I was extremely disappointed with the service and food. 0/10.
Hidden Gem! Food and dice bar on point! Don’t sleep on this place. Fresh Spotted Cow, incredible cheese curds, and expansive menu. Staff was friendly and efficient. 10/10 recommend
Great food, cozy atmosphere, cold beer, and fantastic service. We often stop on Mondays, Schnitzel Night. Sometimes we have the special, other times, one of their sandwiches. Steaks, Chops, and Prime Rib are delish! If you like supper clubs, you'll love Juice's Ghost Town.
Juice’s Ghost Town is one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. And if you look at my review profile, you’ll know I’ve had a lot of burgers. If you’re looking for Wisconsin Bar Food (our favorite), this is the best you’ll find from Sheboygan to Milwaukee. The Curd Nurd cheese curds are also some of the best I’ve ever had: he makes the curds fresh each morning and delivers them to several local restaurants and gas stations. They’re lightly battered and full of flavor. The burgers… aww, the burgers, are so good. Perfect and juicy patty, hard roll buns, fresh lettuce and tomato, along with great fries. We also at a later date tried the homemade chips, and those were awesome and they give you so much of them compared to the fries. We’d recommend those chips. Only one star is down on the atmosphere because although the place was super fun and unique — a converted pizza 1900s dance hall and the placemats detail the history of the name Ghost Town, it’s super interesting — there was some dust and spider webs on the window near us. Overall, 10/10 for Juice’s Ghost Town and we took way too long to try it!
