If you’re in Grafton, GO HERE! The waiter was fast and courteous. Food was outstanding. The roasted salmon with risotto was my favorite. The bourbon burger with truffle fries was great. Desert was also amazing: crème brûlée and salted caramel, pretzel bread pudding. Wonderful overall experience, we will be returning!
Pretty Good. The coconut shrimp fry is a great portion & batter isn’t too sweet. I would recommend serving this with a sweet-and-sour chilli sauce instead of tater sauce. I did not like the coleslaw. it was mostly cabbage, carrots and mayo ( I like my coleslaw with onions). My Jalapeño popper burger was good, I expected more cream cheese on it. I don’t know about the "brisket patty". I believe that if you’re gonna put brisket on the menu — you should just serve brisket and not use it as an upsell for burgers. It didn’t enhance the experience as I couldn’t even tell whether or not I was eating a burger or brisket. Brisket is a pricey cut of meat and it shouldn’t be pared with ground beef.
We recently moved to the area from out of state and have been on the hunt for great local places to eat. We came across North 13 and decided to give it a try. To start, I ordered a cranberry mocktail, which was delicious. My boyfriend and I then ordered the meatloaf and the Jambalaya Mac & Cheese. The meatloaf was wrapped in bacon and served with mashed potatoes and glazed carrots. What a great combination! Everything had fantastic flavor, and the sweet carrots were the perfect balance to an otherwise savory dish. The star of the show, though, was the Jambalaya Mac & Cheese. It was absolutely delicious and bursting with flavor. I didn’t think I’d finish the whole thing in one sitting, but it was so good that before I knew it, I was down to the last bite! Our waitress was welcoming, attentive, and kind, which made the experience even better. We’ll definitely be back to try more items on the menu. Highly recommend checking this place out if you’re looking for a great meal and friendly service.
First time here since they changed to North 13. We met up with our good friends Laurie & Mike. Beautiful decor and friendly service. Started with thier house Makers Mark O'Fashion and Brian enjoyed a Yeungling from the tap. I had wine with dinner (beet salad with salmon). Brian had bacon wrap meatloaf. Laurie enjoyed their spicy, crispy, and juicy Nashville Chicken. Mike ckeaned his plate of Pecan Chicken, mash potatoes, and Brussels sprouts. Desserts included a Bourbon Caramel Pretzel Bread Pudding and a Creme Brule. So good. We will be back!
We had our wedding reception in the event space upstairs. The space was beautiful and set-up well for us, with room for our ~100 guests for a sit-down dinner plus a dance floor. The event coordinator, Sue, was very responsive in answering questions and discussing layout, food, etc. I also appreciated their accommodation of my guests' food allergies/restrictions. For plated food, we got the beef burgundy, bourbon glazed salmon, and the bang-bang cauliflower (vegan). The beef and salmon came with a house salad, mashed potatoes, and green bean almondine. Everything was delicious! My only regret is not ordering more of the yummy desserts. The AV also worked perfectly. I would highly recommend 13 North for any reception/party/event.
