On January 11, 2026 I brought my beloved Lucy in for treatment. I was visiting from out of town and randomly chose UrgentVet. I am so glad I did. Lucy was in critical condition due to an ongoing illness and needed immediate attention. The moment I walked through the door, the person who greeted me( I'm sorry I didn't get her name, she was so kind) understood the urgency. Each person I met with gave Lucy the best and thorough care. I was kept up to date through each step. Unfortunately, it was time for Lucy to make her way to Rainbow Ridge. As you can imagine, I was a mess. I want to express a special thank you to Dr. Totsky, not only her knowledge, but for her sincere compassion during this time. Thank you to everyone who was there that Sunday, I appreciate you.

Exactly one week ago I had to rush my precious kitten, Halo, up north to UrgentVet per recommendation of his vet. Halo had been scratched by his left ear and he had a huge abscess. Thankfully we got him there when we did because his temperature was 106 and he wasn't doing well. They were able to get his fever down, put him under and drain the abscess and give him the appropriate meds/vaccinations he needed. I was an emotional wreck, crying real hard and the kindness, concern and love they showed Halo was wonderful. You can tell they truly care for all fur babies. Halo has a bald spot, but he is back to his normal, playful, and loving self. Thank you for saving this precious Lil guy. He is so loved and I can never express my gratitude enough for the actions taken for my baby and the kindness you all had. I highly recommend them to anyone that needs their pet seen. We drove over an hour to get to them and I would do it all over again for any of my fur babies!

Last week, my boyfriend and I took my cat Trixie in for an x-ray after fearing that she had swallowed a 6-sided die (it can happen, apparently!). I can’t say enough good things about the staff here! They were immensely reassuring and treated the three of us with respect, courtesy, and care. While Trixie wasn’t fond of being at the vet’s, she was offered lots of affection and even a Churu treat, and we left feeling satisfied and a whole lot calmer. Thank you, Dr. Felber and co.!!! If I ever have to return (which I hope I don’t!), I know my pets and I will be in good hands.

Urgent Vet-North Shore took amazing care of my pup! The care, compassion, patience, explanation, attentiveness of the staff. Had a not so great experience the day before at a different Vet ER and the way my pup was dismissed was so upsetting. Going to Urgent Vet the following day was a blessing. Highly recommended if you pet is in need of care. Thank Urgent Vet-North Shore for your outstanding care!
