I am a business owner in Milwaukee Wi. I have been purchasing my boxes from Nelson Container for about 5 years. In every delivery, at least 25% of the boxes have been unusable. The phone number and company name is either crooked or cut off on some of the boxes. Each time, I have sent pictures of the problem and emailed them to make them aware of the issues. They chose to ignore the issue and did nothing to make it better. Due to the pandemic, our need for new boxes reduced significantly for 18 months. When my business did return post pandemic, I placed a new order for boxes. When they sent me the quote, the price was increased by 145%. When I asked if this was a typo, they replied that the cost of paper had gone up due to the pandemic. I started looking for a new vendor for my boxes. Nelson's competitors all confirmed that paper prices had increased since I had ordered boxes last, however only by 10%. NOT 145%. This company attempted to use the pandemic as a reason to make a larger profit from my company. I have quotes from 3 of their competitors for 1/4 of the prices that they attempted to charge my company. I will be using one of their competitors moving forward. Very disappointed!

I purchase cartons for a Book bindery and Nelson container has always had great customer service, fast delivery and high quality cartons. I highly recommend them!
