We were county licensed years ago and came over to Foundations to get a respite license to fill a local need. Here we are now, a year later, and still actively filling needs in the realm of foster care. We cannot say enough wonderful things about our experiences with Foundations! From case workers to office staff, everyone is incredibly responsive (within hours, never waiting days!) and helpful. They give the vibe of a small family.... which is exactly what we all need (from foster parents to kiddos). If you're thinking about obtaining a foster license or even just have questions before diving in, reach out.... this is the place that can help you and ultimately serves families and children so well!

I am so glad we joined Foundations as foster parents! Everyone I've worked with has been wonderful and really care about what they do. I love that they offer support around the clock. It really feels like they care about us and the kids. The kids also love the workers and enjoy every time they come for a visit!

We have had the most amazing experience switching from a county agency to Foundations. We have never felt seen or heard and often ignored with another place but here we are supported and encouraged and help is always available even if it’s just a phone call to vent to case management or whatever. Everyone is friendly and also so many things and activities to make foster parents feel appreciated and a part of a greater team to help care for these kiddos! We are so happy we made the switch and only regret not doing it sooner!

I have been a foster parent through Foundations for almost 5 years. As a foster parent, navigating the complexities of caring for children with diverse backgrounds and needs can be both rewarding and challenging. Foundations Health and Wholeness has been such a valuable resource in this journey. Having an agency that is both easy to reach and responsive to my needs has been incredibly important. The staff are approachable and communicative, always willing to provide guidance or answer questions.
