Here's an insane story about this location: my son rode a $200 longboard up to this thrift shop, as it's close to our house, he takes it everywhere, it's his means of transportation. He shops here often as he is a kid, and he loves thrifting. He went up on Saturday, left the board by door and started shopping. The clerk [who absolutely refused to give me her name] SOLD THE BOARD. Apparently someone asked how much it was, they priced it out, and SOLD IT! When my son asked where his board was, she told him she sold it, and that he can take her to small claims court?! [He's 16]. He didn't tell me until today, I could not believe the story so I called up there. I told the story, and the woman said "Yes, that did happen, I sold it". I said "what"?! So what are you going to do about it, because thats a professional $200 longboard from Zumies, not a cheap Walmart board. My mind is blown. She said "there's nothing we can do". I told her I was going to file a police report, and asked for her name. She absolutely refused to give it to me, and hung up the phone on me! So I called multiple Salvation Army locations trying to reach someone in customer service for this area: was finally given someones name, but were told they were unavailable. I filed a police report, I opened a BBB report. I understand this was an unfortunate incident, but they HAVE TO make it right. My son left, walked home, had no idea what to do/absolutely insane story. Being told to take them to court?! What? How about Salvation Army makes this right and replaces the board/ it's pretty simple. They admitted they sold it. They apologized, and that was it. I am still wrapping my head around this. Just make it right.
