Sacred Heart Seminary and School of Theology is an educational institution in Franklin. We offer priestly formation and theological study, including a Pontifical Baccalaureate in affiliation with the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome. Our institution serves men discerning vocations to the priesthood, including second vocations and younger men, and prepares individuals for service to the Church as laypersons. We are accredited by the Association of Theological Schools (ATS).

SHSST is on a beautiful wooded campus. It has a rigorous scholastic program and demands spiritual growth and maturity from its seminarians. The chapels are beautiful and the main chapel is breathtaking with a grand organ and impeccable liturgical and musical leader, Dr. Stone. The institution is geared to serve second vocations, but also seamlessly serves young men. It is a demanding environment that brings out the best in its participants. It prizes and rewards academic achievement while not ignoring spiritual development and docility. It has an excellent propaedeutic program run by the lovable father figure, Fr. Ziggy. Definitely come out and visit the campus if you are considering a vocation to the priesthood or if you want to serve the Church as a layperson. The new rector, Fr. Huffstetter, is a wonderful addition and embodies the ideals of the institution.
