0 stars if I could. It was a Saturday morning and I thought I could walk in for a hair appointment. Before I even left my car, a lady from the salon is pointing at me. And I never felt so threatened, harassed, and profiled. I was so taken aback I left without being able to even enter the front door. I’ll happily take my money somewhere else! And spread kindness, it’s the easiest thing to do. I hope you ladies do better.

I was visiting a nearby shop, just running in and out for a quick 30-second errand. Unfortunately, every parking spot was taken, and a train was coming through, making street parking impossible. Knowing it would only be a short time, I decided to park in a salon spot. When I returned, I was greeted by a stern-looking West Side Salon employee who stared me down through the window. It was one of the dirtiest looks I’ve ever received, and she shook her head at me. Although I’ve never been to the salon, my interactions with the staff have made me think I’ll go somewhere with friendlier employees in the future, and you might want to as well.

Beth used to cut my hair as a kid, and Lisa has been cutting my hair since I was 15, and I have been a completely satisfied customer ever since! I can’t recommend them enough. Great for the family, very warm and welcoming to everyone.
