A few years ago SJ Janis completed a whole house remodel for our lake home which was last remodeled in the 1960’s. The results were amazing. Their vision, skillful execution and attention to detail improved our house beyond our expectations. Recently we contacted them on an unrelated repair issue to get a referral. Very shortly thereafter a contractor called and within a couple days our problem was repaired at a very reasonable cost. SJ Janis produces great construction results and provides equally great customer service.

We were looking to tear down a main level porch and replace with either a 3 season or 4 season room. With the help of Casey and his team they were creative customizing our new fabulous 4 season room. They were nothing short of amazing with every facet during the construction. Their workers were super nice, cleaned up every day and were respectful of our family space each day. The time line they laid out for us from start to finish was spot on. We never looked back when considering other contractors. We are extremely happy we chose S.J. Janis for our project. I did a total house remodel plus an addition ... 1960s ranch with lots of unused space due to a poor design and a kitchen the size of a closet. S.J.Janis did a perfect design for my taste - open concept with a minimalist shaker style flow. It turned out perfect.

We did a full basement remodel with SJ Janis Company. They were excellent from start to finish. Their whole staff was helpful and professional. We met with Jim for the sales consultation and he really took time to understand our needs, and give a truthful and honest consultation about cost. He took time to help us think things through, and we never felt pressured or rushed. The design process was extra awesome because Joe was able to do some 3D architectural drawings which really made the project come to life. We had some tricky elements we wanted to work in, and some soundproofing requirements and they really did their research and took time to incorporate those things for us. Sarah was a super skillful in choosing design selections. She took time to really understand our style as family, and pulled things together within our budget quickly and efficiently. The project manager and lead carpenter Guy was amazing from start to finish. He was professional, personable, and an excellent communicator. Most importantly, his work is impecable. His skill and attention to detail for every single part of the project really is I think what made this project shine. For a project of this size we planned for disruption and snags, and to be honest there really weren't any. It was really smooth sailing thanks to Guy, and the team worked hard to make sure anything that came up was addressed transparently and swiftly. Thanks to SJ janis we have a beautiful basement, and we could not be happier.
