Elliott Ace Hardware has been an Elm Grove gem my whole life! They have the most knowledgeable staff waiting to help within their department. I love the store and the selection, but the reason I shop there is the staff. It's also a manageable size and great location. Highly recommend!
I ordered some peony cages and Ace delivered the wrong ones. But as soon as I called Matt, one of the managers, he quickly made arrangements to have the correct ones delivered and was so apologetic. I can’t say enough about the customer service.
Ah, “The Helpful Place” - yes indeed. Not often do I traverse the stairs or this traditional hardware environment, but recently, I needed some key rings (haha) and warmer winter socks. I think that seeing me buy 3 key rings brightened the clerk’s afternoon, as it was incredibly genuine, but definitely “something this customer needed”. The socks are quite soft but still masculine in patterning and work well as the outer layer over a thinner fabric. Always a good time - always cover my needs. Thank you!
Elliots has terrific stores. They have have great selection of merchandise, the stores are well layed out, and the staff are super helpful. You might pay a little more than the big box stores, but if you want a more personal experience, and expertise, then this is the place to go.
