Orchard with u-pick apples, wine tasting, and a bakery
This is a wonderful treat! They have a very cute shop where you can get all kinds of treats like Jams, Pies, Salsa, Honey, and Wines. They have so much more to offer as well! They have a free wine tasting as any tips go to a Charity for Cancer. (Can't remember which charity specific) It's worth a stop!
What a fantastic place to stop by and enjoy all that they have to offer. We met family there on a Sunday for some shopping, live music, and fun for the kids. We ended up picking pumpkins, apples, and buying apple cider and apple jam before we left. The band was fantastic, and the the apple cider donuts were to die for. We had a fantastic time there and all agreed to return again in the future.
First time here. A friend told us about it, so we decided to drop in and check it out. It’s a charming spot, surrounded by beautiful fields of apple trees, heavy with this year’s crop. We spent most of our time browsing the gift shop and bakery. From the “Happy Camper” coffee trailer out front, we grabbed hot beverages along with a couple of delicious bakery items — a pumpkin cream muffin and a pumpkin scone. We took these to the enclosed patio out front and enjoyed them while listening to a musician playing guitar and singing. It made for a lovely afternoon. I would definitely return, and next time I’d make sure to try the wine tasting.
The perfect place to visit in the fall from u-pick apples to free wine tasting to free tractor rides to live music to hot apple cider donuts! My friend and I visited on a Saturday morning. Parking is free and in a grass lot. There's a green space with picnic tables, lawn and table games, live music, food trucks, wine tasting, coffee truck, apple cider donuts, and a gift shop. The wine was interesting as it was made from a variety of apples and one was even made from blueberries. As other reviews mention, the apple cider donuts are delicious! They sell them in minimum 1/2 dozen quantities and do take credit card payment. The apple picking and tractor ride are across the street and they have a worker stationed to help you cross the street. It was fun to go through the orchard on the tractor and see all their different varieties of apples. The only thing we would have preferred was if they allowed the sale of single apples. As we were from out of town, we would have loved to buy one or two apples but their gift shop only sold in several pound bags.
We went just for the apple cider donuts on our way from eagle, WI to lake Geneva. I wish we’d come for lunch but we arrived ten minutes before they closed. The donuts were easy to find, sold separately at a little kiosk outside by the half or dozen. They were worth stopping if only for the donuts! Warm and fresh even though they were about to close. Small sized so easy to sneak one in before dinner or have a couple. Light and fluffy with a small sprinkling of sugar. Not greasy, not rich, not too sweet. Utter fall perfection. The place had multiple food trucks, alcohol, picnic tables, etc. Families were having a great time with kids happily running around and adults chatting, listening to the guitarist singing in the background. Bucolic. Definitely worth going out of you way for this.
