No better than the Farmstead. Our bartender, Sarah, rocks the bar, making sure all beverages are crafted to order (even when uncorking my 3Fingers Cab). Lizzy's service was outstanding and she recognized Brian from when we frequented Morton's (we so miss Morton's) Brian had the NY MR, and me, the Big Sky, perfectly prepared rare! Finshed off with a slice of Chocolate Mousse cake with cookie crust, to go.

My husband and I went for our anniversary dinner after hearing so many good things! We showed up at 4pm on a Saturday and had a 30min wait (get there early, they open at 3:30!) We decided to sit at the bar which was pretty nice! Once we got to our table the service was fast! Keep in mind that the place is small, gets super busy so it is pretty loud in there. The food was okay, nothing absolutely amazing but nothing bad either. For what you pay, I’m not sure it’s quite worth the price. Buuuut it’s a cool place to check out!

What a great surprise. We have been dining in Cedarburg for years and had never took the time to dine at the Farmstead. I don’t know what we were thinking. We had absolutely a great experience. Arrive early. They don’t take reservations. We arrived at 445 on a Friday evening and the restaurant was packed. We went to the bar and waited about 30 minutes for a table. The bar area is rather small but was easy to get a drink while we waited. A cool that is that their grill is right in the bar area. So it was kind of fun watching the chef cook while we waited. Our meal was fantastic. My wife and I both had the lobster bisque that was creamy and delicious. I had the top sirloin. It was cooked medium rare just the way I ordered it. Interestingly, they have a top secret basting sauce. It really is a secret, they won’t say what it is. My wife had the seven layer salad that she loved. The building and decor is very rustic. The tables were very close together and it was moderately noisy. I think this just added to the overall atmosphere. The service was fantastic, very friendly and warm. The prices were very reasonable for a restaurant of this type. I highly recommend and can’t wait to return soon.

What a cozy spot! I had no idea it was around. I’m a stickler on steaks and they did such a good job. Usually, I don’t leave the house for a steak lol. Also be sure to get the haystack on onions. addicting! Fantastic service as well.

So we came here for Valentines day getaway weekend and came across this steakhouse.... they had a 3.5hr wait ✋️ 😳 but it was soooooo worth it! We started the 3rd pg of the waiting list and im so happy we waited. They had a nice waiting system going so once I put my name down the host gave me her business card said to call back in an hour to see how long the wait would be. So we went on our way did some shopping had a small snack from wine tasting.... We came back to the place when they said we have an hour wait and got a spot by the bar. She was very nice drinks were good...finally our time came up and boy oh boy were we ready to eat! We ordered the string onions they were good and the sauce was amazing. The bread was delicious and the butter was on point! I order the sirloin steak and got a medium... I should have gotten a medium well but that didnt stop me from eating it with the special glazed secret garlic sauce that the own makes was it to die for. My husband got tenderloin medium he said it was cooked to perfection as medium. So there you have it folks! It's a definite yes! I took pics of the updated menu. We ate the food took quick and forgot to take the picture.
