I really hate leaving bad reviews for small businesses but the whole experience with Laura was horrible. My mom showed Laura the inspo pictures and she said she could do it. However the cake did not look like the inspo pictures. There was a miscommunication between her and my mom with the flowers being all pink, but that aside, the rest of cake was still not even close to the petite wildflower esthetic in the pictures. When I called to let her know I was not happy with the design she made excuses for each thing I pointed out and offered no remedy. She actually told me that the cake is already made and she can’t do anything. One thing I pointed out was the leaves being too big for the stems. She blamed the one photo being AI and she couldn’t make them smaller. Wellll, I got extremely lucky and found a baker that was able to redecorate the cake the morning of my daughter’s birthday. Stems and leaves being way smaller, which means it was possible and Laura just could not do it. It is sad that the original baker kept making my excuses and did not offer to redesign the cake she made and that I had to pay someone else to fix her mistake. Edit: Laura had two photos. Not one. I received the cake late because my mom picked the cake up and then had to go to work. I got the cake once my mom was off work and I called immediately. I did not postpone my concerns. I also was not told she was not available and that’s why she could not help. She just said “well the cake is already made, there’s nothing I can do”. Very poor way to go about an unhappy customer.
