Laser Traditions saved the day after an unresponsive Etsy seller. We brought in Yeti cups for engraving, and they were ready the next day. Quick communication, easy process, and excellent results. Happy to support a local business—we’ll definitely be back!

On November 14, I had reached out via Etsy to inquire on a stock engraving project. Doug advised it was doable and provided the shipping address for the stock. I ordered a stock from a third party and had it shipped to him. Unfortunately, the project fell through related to other aspects, and this was communicated to Doug on November 17, and he was also advised the stock was scheduled to be delivered on the 19th. He confirmed the cancelation notice and after reaching back out to him on November 20th he confirmed the stock had been received. Several conversations were had and it was determined that the easiest would be to send him a return label for the stock to be shipped back to the original third party. Doug advised that FedEx usually comes by the shop every other day. After not hearing from Doug and not seeing tracking updates I reached back out several more times to confirm the return. He advised that he would take it to FedEx since FedEx had not been by. Again, after not seeing any update to the tracking, reaching out via Etsy and not having received a response I reached out via phone today. Doug advised that FedEx is some distance away from him and it’s essentially not efficient or effective for him to make a special trip for one package. I totally get that and understand that, but that is not what was communicated or agreed upon. I feel like if that were the case then as a business representative he should have made that clear upfront. I understand it being the holidays and things are hectic, but Doug’s communication could have been better and certainly makes me question if it was a good thing we didn’t conduct a full transaction. At this point I’m chalking the cost of the stock up to a loss, as I just want to be done with this. For anyone who may want clarity please reach out and I will share copies of the Etsy messages so you can determine if Laser Traditions is the right choice for you.

EXCELLENT...I was browsing the web looking for someone who could do some custom wood engraving on a gun stock. This wouldn't be easy to do because of the curved nature and uneven surfaces on the item. I got lucky and Laser Traditions Engraving answered my email and we communicated several times to make sure they could do this type of item and then the patterns and through it all my apprehensions. I spoke to Doug by phone a couple of times and then mailed my item. He sent pics of the project for my approval before doing the work. Once we agreed it only took a couple of weeks until I had it back. The detail is stunning, fine lines in the scroll and perfectly cut to the same depth in spite of the uneven surface...absolutely perfect work. I am sooo pleased. Rest assured if Doug says he can do it---he can do it. Ronald Billips

Last year I found some really cool wedding decoration ideas on social media that I wanted to make myself. Unfortunately, I did not have the machinery to cut out wood and acrylic, so I searched online for businesses in the area and came across Laser Traditions. Doug was absolutely amazing to work with. He took my crazy request and made sure I got all the materials I needed so I could paint and put together my table numbers and wedding sign. Response time was fast and turnaround was quick. I will absolutely be reaching out to Doug again for any future projects. Best experience I've had with a local business EVER. Thank you Doug!
