Park with a bandstand and playground in Cedar Grove
Attended the fest on a Saturday evening for the music, Total Neon. Band was fun, but the fest was really small as far as food. No alcohol as it appeared to be sponsored by the church, which also seemed to heavily influence the crowd and nearby homes (yard signs).
The park was as beautiful as I remember it from my childhood. As a kid I would play here after getting out of elementary school before I headed home. The bandstand and the park has been kept in great condition over the last 40 years since I've been gone. Came here for the 75th annual Holand Festival and it was almost as I remembered it. Two days filled with good music and fun for the whe family.
I was there with my son. He's almost 2. We had a blast. He liked all the slides and the most. They have wood chips down on part of the playground. I personally am not a fan of the wood chips but outside if that it's a very nice place. Good location.
Nice walking trails but the playground was at the bottom of a hill where lots of water runs thru. Looked like they were in the process of fundraising to redo the playground tho.
They have lots of places to sit and enjoy the multiple events that happen here throughout the year. The kids will enjoy the swings and slides, and the adults will enjoy the beverages that will surely be there, so long as it's during an event.
