This is a great school district that genuinely focuses on teaching children important curriculum. The staff is engaging and encouraging and my child has been flourishing here.

It has been years since I attended CGBSD for elementary and middle school. I left in 2015. I did not have the best experience. Some of my elementary school teachers were rude to me and made me cry because I didn’t talk much. My classmates at that time would also bully me for various reasons. These kids continued to bully me very badly throughout all of middle school. It got so bad that I had to move away after 8th grade. Of course, there were still nice kids too, but I didn’t have many friends. Some of my middle school teachers were good. Some were bad. My middle school guidance counselor was amazing. The worst part of going to school here was how mean the kids were, and staff tolerated it. People were racist and ableist. Lots of horrific memories from CGBSD. Overall, I think this school had potential to be a good place. I hope things have changed for the better since I went here.

Too much homework and the lunch is disgusting it makes me sick and there's graffiti in the middle school bathrooms.
