Lovely beach. Usually free of algae, but last week there was a little near the shore. But just walk through it and get to the first sandbags to experience the best of lake Michigan in August.

Hidden gem! Great beach, off the beating path. Very clean. Only minor mention is the alewife die off on the shore. Otherwise perfect!

Beautiful, sandy beach with spectacular views of Lake Michigan. Our small family of three enjoyed the rolling waves and clean sandy beach. There’s a public boat launch with a pier and ample parking is available in the paved parking lot adjacent to the launch. Dogs are allowed on the beach to the south of the pier. There are picnic tables, a playground, and a port-o-potty.

Quaint, quiet park nestled along Lake Michigan. I came in late fall (Oct 30th) to star gaze, but this would be a nice park in summer, with 600 feet of sandy beach, nice waves, and old-school, playground equipment. Like a 30-year step back in history.
