Got an Italian combo half sub for 10$. Quite expensive for the size but food is expensive so i cant really complain.

I made the mistake of stopping here to grab some lunch while doing a job in the area. Anytime I go to a deli I’ve never been to, I get an Italian combo. The ingredients to the combo were fresh, but the salami was overwhelming. I asked for some oil and vinegar on it, and there was no sign of oil and vinegar to be found. I was asked if I wanted peppers on the grinder to which I replied yes. Little did I know they were green bell peppers, not Mancini, nor pepperoncini peppers… There were a few green bell pepper slivers in the sandwich. The grinder was edible, but a disappointment. I probably should’ve left about a minute after entering because when I went to the counter, a gentleman was walking towards the counter, when suddenly I was intercepted by a mean old woman. I told her I wanted the Italian combo, and she said that I am going to have to wait until 11 AM because that’s when they start serving lunch. I looked at the time in my phone said it was 10:56 AM… I said “You’re kidding me, so you’re going to wait four minutes to put in my order?" She said yes. I told her I needed to get moving. In no way did this concern her. I reluctantly placed my order. I wish I just saved my money and happiness. This is not somebody that should be dealing with the public. People coming in to get lunch are not coming in to get an attitude. Old School Deli. I get it: she is old. She needs to go to school for manners. And as far as a deli goes, if you can’t make a good Italian combo, why call it a deli. Anyway, just my 2 cents. I don’t come to this area very often, but next time I do, I will certainly go elsewhere to get lunch, and I recommend if you’re reading this, you should do the same thing. Save your money and happiness.

I wandered in at 2 pm recently and asked for an egg sandwich on a roll. I received something from Heaven, a delicious sandwich on a toasted Portuguese roll, obviously prepared with love, as I was the only customer. I appreciate that care in serving such a simple order. I would highly recommend this establishment.

Love their food here. Simple , non fancy just enough choices and always served with a smile. NOT. That’s my only complaint. The owners/waitstaff act like you are a nuisance to them. I don’t know what it is with especially the older one but the many years I’ve been going here I have not once seen her smile. I’m a 25% tipper too so that can’t be it. Overall, the good food makes up for it and reasonably priced too.

The older lady there is so incredibly rude. Online it says they close at 3, walked in with TWO people at 2pm just looking to split a quick BLT and she refused to let us sit down because they “close soon”.
