Had a nice dinner here. Sometimes they have lobster rolls which are okay. Very good service.

We showed up late last Friday unannounced, with no reservation, with two dogs in tow, looking somewhat disheveled and very tired. This was the snow storm the day after Christmas and we had left Toronto Canada at 9:30 a.m. but couldn't quite make it the remaining 30 miles home! Poor visibility wouldn't let me drive fast enough to even shift out of 2nd gear so our better judgement took over and we stopped for a room. The proprietor was happily still in the giving Christmas mood; she gave us a discounted room :-), simply asked that the dogs not go on the bed, and even warmed up our take-out leftovers in the microwave oven. This is true hospitality! Thank you so much, we will never forget your kindness and concern that we make it safely home, which we did - no problem - the next day!

We went for dinner last night while staying nearby visiting friends. This was the second time we had dinner at the restaurant; once again it was absolutely incredible! My husband had the duck leg special and I had the ribeye steak. Everything about our meal was amazing! Service was absolutely perfect. Colin was our waiter and Abby was our bartender. Dom the chef even came out to say hello and told us all about how he made the duck special. All around a wonderful evening. We can’t wait to go again.

Beautiful location. We arrived early and never the less the owner kindly checked us in. The rooms were lovely and the beds incredibly comfortable and big! We had a major issue with our car and car hire companies response which essentially left us stranded - they went out of their way to help by giving us a lift to the airport; incredibly kind. We had an evening meal and the place was packed! A great vibe. Service was attentive and prompt. Food was as delicious as were cocktails 😍. Thanks for a memorable visit!

We had a birthday reservation for ten people on Burger Night. There were small containers (wine bottles with stoppers) of warm water on the table, but when our waitress finally came to greet us, it took what felt like an hour to receive our drinks. After almost another hour to get our food (mind you, we only ordered burgers and fries), the medium-sized burgers were okay...many at the table complained they were over-cooked...and the bacon on mine was like leather. We barely saw our waitress, and she never asked if everything was alright with us. Luckily, I knew I would need more catsup, as my burger arrived, so got some extra on her next trip out. Needless-to-say, my brother-in-law and nephew were thirsty for more beer, and took it upon themselves to head to the bar. They came back commenting how the bartender made it clear how she had been inconvenienced. I had been to the Inn on a few other occasions, since its new ownership. I was unimpressed and shocked by their prices. Even though Burger Night seemed like a reasonable deal (the burger was just okay, but the fries were pretty good), the service was a real downer. The owner needs to hire more wait staff, a more efficient cook, and either an extra bartender, or one that can pour beer faster, lol.
