Offering art classes and creative programs using upcycled materials
Breetel and CKA are truly wonderful. The classes and programs they offer are fun, creative, and full of imagination. I’ve hired CKA for a school fair and have also attended their open studios and structured classes—each experience has been fantastic. The space itself is warm, welcoming, and inspiring for kids and families alike.
I cannot say enough good things about Canaan Kids Artspace. Every week my kids count down the days until Wednesday when they get to take the bus with their friends to the art space, and create, laugh, and imagine until nearly dinner time. It has been a godsend for my husband and I who are able to get a couple extra hours of work done before the kids come home, happy, excited, and so talkative about all the things they did at the Artspace this year. What a gift to our community to have this in Canaan!
Canaan Art Space is such a great addition to our community here in North Canaan. I love that children get to use their creative minds and make some incredible art and crafts out of recycled materials. Another great perk is kids can take the bus right from school and get dropped off at the location for after school art club. My son really enjoys going and creating cool things after school.
