WMP is a beautiful and very peaceful place. I was not sure where I was going to lay my parents to rest as they had no burial plans. My father’s parents are buried here so I decided to go and check WMP out. The land is beautiful and I fell in love with the inside of the building it has an elegant atmosphere. The garden of eternal life is so beautiful it is a private place of its own which makes it even more peaceful. The staff is very responsive when I need anything. The groundsmen are always out working hard tending to the park to ensure the upkeep of the park. I always look forward to visiting my loved ones and being in serenity.

I am writing to express my deep frustration with the handling of my request regarding my mother's preplanned arrangements. More than 40 years ago, my parents purchased and prepaid their arrangements at Wisconsin Memorial. Although they moved to Arizona in 1998, those arrangements remained in place. When my father passed away in 2016, the process of having his birth and death dates added to his book urn was simple and took approximately one month. My mother passed away in May of this year, and I have now spent more than a month trying to have her birth and death dates placed on her book urn. Despite numerous phone calls, I receive different answers from different employees each time I call. I have repeatedly explained that my mother no longer lived in Wisconsin and that I am not bringing her ashes to Wisconsin. This simple fact seems to create ongoing confusion. At one point I was instructed to complete an online form, but I never received the promised follow-up. After asking to speak with a supervisor, I finally received a return call. She assured me that everything would be taken care of within two to three weeks, took my mailing address, email address, and phone number, and said she would keep me informed. It has now been another month, and I have received no communication whatsoever. I do not understand why this request has become so complicated. My father's inscription was completed without difficulty, yet I have spent weeks making phone calls, repeating the same information, and receiving inconsistent answers with no resolution. This has become the most difficult and disappointing part of settling my mother's affairs. At a time when families should be treated with compassion and professionalism, I have instead experienced confusion, lack of communication, and broken promises. UPDATE My review was responded to by the location manager, Garrett Rose. After speaking with Garrett by phone and explaining the difficulty I had been having getting my mom's book urn completed, he assured me that he would personally take care of it. About two weeks after our initial conversation, Garrett contacted me to let me know that my mom's book urn had been completed with her date of birth and date of death. He went above and beyond by sending me a photo of my parents' final resting place, which I truly appreciated since I don't live in Wisconsin. I can't express how much I appreciate Garrett for ensuring this was completed. His follow-through, compassion, and excellent communication made all the difference. Thank you, Garrett, for your outstanding customer service and for going the extra mile. It means more than you know.

I planned my loved ones services 3 years ago. When I met with the representative they were very thorough and things did turn out very nice. I also had a luncheon over at the family center and the food was really really good. Everyone calls and asked me who catered the food. I was very pleased with Wisconsin Memorial and I have several family members that have been laid to rest there which speaks volumes.

I am extremely disappointed with Wisconsin Memorial Park and feel compelled to share my experience so others can make informed decisions. My mother passed away in 2020, and her gravesite has been an eyesore ever since. I have raised concerns every single year, yet nothing has been properly addressed. There are large bald patches with no grass, and the area often looks neglected and unkempt. For a place that is supposed to honor loved ones, it is incredibly disheartening. In addition, our family had previously purchased four plots together, separate from my parents’ sites. My son is disabled, so I reached out to inquire about relocating to plots closer to the road to accommodate his wheelchair. Instead of working with us compassionately, I was told they would give us far less than what we originally paid for those plots toward new ones. The only way they would offer fair value was if we prepaid for all four burials through them—including plaques. That felt incredibly unreasonable and, frankly, like a pressured sales tactic. On top of that, the overall condition of the grounds is unacceptable. I often find myself picking up garbage when I visit. It feels like basic maintenance and respect for the space are lacking. This cemetery should be a place of peace and dignity, but instead it has been a source of frustration and disappointment for our family. I wish that my parents were buried somewhere else and that we never purchased any plots at this cemetery.

This is a fascinating memorial park. As you walk along the half mile path there are informative displays of wartime events. Great to learn more history in a peaceful and parklike setting. The information video in the building is also worth the time to watch.
