First time that I bought jeans here. They hemm the length. What a great free feature. The staff worked so well together. So happy that we have this story in Brookfield versus Nordstrom in tosa. Von Mair is a full level above.

Kristy (department manager) and her team at Von Maur hold a special place in my family’s heart. We will be forever grateful for their grace and professionalism during a difficult time in our lives. My husband (the heart of our family) was hit with a devastating diagnosis of a rare and aggressive terminal cancer. This terrible information came as we were preparing for family photos. As one could imagine, we did not have the mental bandwidth to plan our wardrobe. We already had outfits for the girls in the family, but we needed to find coordinating outfits for the boys. This is where Kristy and her team stepped up in a way I could not have expected. I called the store inquiring if Von Maur had a personal shopper that could help us out. I was connected with Kristy who immediately took on the task of finding outfits for the boys. I gave her the shirt, pant, and shoe sizes of each of them (4 in total), as well as the color palate we were envisioning. We arrived at Von Maur to find a private dressing area reserved for our family. They posted thoughtful welcome signs on each dressing room door and had several outfits ready for each family member to try on. Within an hour we had our photo shoot wardrobe complete and the heavy weight of wardrobe planning off of our shoulders. The Von Maur team came through for us when we weren’t able to do it on our own. Thank you Kristy and team!

I love the fact that they take the time to box your gift purchases, neatly folding the tissue and sealing with their sticker. Beautiful set up displays and clothing.

One of the nicest department stores I have been in in many years! Everything was organized, displayed very well and of course, it was very clean. The merchandise was great quality, and they have clothing you won't see at other stores. The staff we came in contact with was very friendly and everyone was willing to help. They offer value added features like free basic alterations, free shipping and more. They had each department staffed, you didn't have to search for an open register or an associate to help you. The women wear skirts/dresses and the men wear suits and ties. You may consider this old school but I found it very refreshing and speaks to the companies values. I can't recommend this store enough. Pay them a visit and see how retail should be done! I just had to add that the live piano music was a very nice touch as well! #LocalGuides
