Derek was outstanding to work with regarding our wedding ceremony planning. He shared helpful resources that helped us build a personalized ceremony. Derek is timely in responding to questions! He was very helpful on the day of the wedding ensuring bride, groom, and wedding party were ready. Derek brought a comforting, spiritual presence that was evident throughout the ceremony.
Derek Dube was the most wonderful officiant we could have asked for. I found him on the Knot and right away he was quick with responses and so friendly! He listened and took into account all of my husband and my wants and needs for our wedding ceremony. At our rehearsal dinner, our day of coordinator did not show up which was so stressful and disappointing but Derek stepped in 110% and led our wedding party through the entire processional, ceremony, and recessional till we all felt confident. On our wedding day, Derek was on time and was the kindest! His well wishes towards my husband and I were so genuine and meant the world, and because of how excellent he was at our rehearsal, the wedding ceremony went off perfectly and without a hitch. I absolutely recommend using Derek as your officiant. He was wonderful, kind, attentive, and genuine. Thank you Derek!!!
Rev. Derek Dube was great and supportive as our Officiant for our wedding. He went above and beyond to ensure our wedding went as well as we had imagined it to be. He sent us helpful reminders on what needed to be completed before the wedding, and gave us good tips and advise when we needed it. Working with Derek was great! We didn't have a current pastor and wanted to find someone who could perform a great ceremony and get to know us a little bit. And Derek did both of those things for us and more. He genuinely cared for us and made the day amazing. We invited him to stay for our reception dinner and he gladly accepted and gave an amazing blessing. We couldn't recommend Derek enough.
Derek worked with us to make our wedding ceremony personal, beautiful and just right for us! After working with Derek throughout our wedding planning process and through our sessions in his Relationship Enhancement course, my husband and I both agree Derek feels more like a friend than just an officiant. We feel very equipped to start a healthy marriage after the tips we learned in the course, Derek is a great listener and really invests himself in the couples he works with.
