Love this church! I leave there on Sundays feeling so full of love, peace and so thankful! Ive participated in a few small groups and got so much out of them. Everyone is so welcoming.

We love Shorepoint!! We started attending in 2021 after our son was born, and from the very beginning we felt genuinely welcomed. Pastor Brian and Bethany are incredibly personable, kind, and approachable—you can truly tell they care about people. Our very first Sunday attending in person, Pastor Brian came up and introduced himself to us, which meant so much. The church is made up of people from all different faith backgrounds and generations, which creates a really healthy and welcoming environment. The preaching is thoughtful and rooted in Scripture, with great cultural and historical context that helps the Bible come alive. Shorepoint is a Spirit-filled church with a non-denominational feel while aligning with Assemblies of God beliefs, which we’ve really appreciated. There are so many opportunities to get connected through groups that fit different stages of life and interests, and that sense of community is what really helped us decide to call Shorepoint home. We’ve seen so much growth in the church over the past few years and are excited about what’s ahead, including plans for a future church building.

My family moved back to the area in 2021 and after visiting a couple of churches, we started attending Shorepoint. A couple of things we love: 1. Biblical teaching - There is nothing the enemy wants more, than for the body of Christ to shy away from Biblical truth. In a time where it would be easy to water down what the Bible says, or reduce sermons to advice on how to have a good life, I'm grateful for the conviction leadership has around teaching from the Bible (with context). 2. Missional values - Every week I hear "we exist to lead people into an authentic and life changing relationship with Jesus Christ". That's great, but what I really love is that every week I see the church living out that mission. From the pastor giving the sermon to the Sunday school volunteer, there is an alignment in seeing people reached for Jesus. 3. Community - It's always hard stepping into a new environment where people seem to know each other. My wife and I prayed, and took steps (initially out of our comfort zone) of joining small groups and volunteer teams full of unfamiliar faces. Before long we found ourselves surrounded by friends that we know and love. 4. Multi-generational - I love that this church has diverse age representation. There are so many times over the past few years that I've needed guidance (work, family etc.) and been able to connect with someone that's already stepped through the season I'm in. It's one of those things that I didn't really think about until I needed it, and now looking back it's been a huge blessing. In short, this church has provided a great space for me to learn, grow, and build relationships that I will cherish for the rest of my life.

My husband and I come from 2 different backgrounds with our faith, both very rooted in religion. We were looking for a church that emphasized relationship with God and TRUE Biblical teachings that bring freedom. We were sick of the churches that we weren’t growing in. Shorepoint’s mission and teachings have kept us coming back because we haven’t found anything out there quite like it. We have exponentially grown in our faith, finding so much joy in freedom in our lives. This is the first church that I have attended that is as close to me as family. Pastor Brian and Bethany are truly the best pastors I have ever had in my 40+ years in the faith. His teachings are always spot on, and he keeps my attention and my ADHD from getting the best of me! I’ve become a note taker because his messages are so rich and enlightening… a perfect amount of conviction AND oh so freeing!! Pastor Brian’s love, energy, and passion for people and the Lord is SO genuine and palpable! My biggest advice, GET INVOLVED! This church is amazing!! This is a church you can call home!!

Shorepoint church has been our home for 3 years now and has pointed us to a deeper relationship with Jesus, given us an amazing church family, and provided us & our children with biblical truths to stand on and carry out in this world. Pastor Brian and the whole staff at Shorepoint are welcoming, give all the glory to Jesus & stand on the truths of the Bible. There is no doubt the Holy Spirit is alive and flowing in and around the people at Shorepoint. We love our church because they point us to Jesus. The only thing that truly matters.
