Buying and selling trendy secondhand clothing for young adults
Went in with a bag of vintage and name brand clothes and they bought NOTHING. There were even items brand new with tags. Do not try to sell here, it is a waste of your time. They have ripped me off before on items such as Lululemon, Levi’s, free people, etc, and I told myself I wouldn’t sell to them again. I wanted to try because it’s been over a year. Back to boycotting them! Using Depop, EBay, or even Facebook Marketplace to sell is way more worth it.
First off customer service was very good. As far as selling the items I’d probably look at other options if you’re looking to get true value for your items before going here. I understand they have to make a profit and they’re running a business but I do think I got shorted for what I brought. ( Nixon watch , 4 pair of barely worn Nikes & two pair of Timberland boots worn once or twice for barely $100 . But i guess they’re also doing part of the labor of getting rid of it. Rather than me going on FB marketplace and doing all the extra work. Although I don’t shop here much. The new location is nice and feels more open and breathable.
I just want to say that I just left this establishment. I have never been here before nor did I know the culture of the store. So sorry I didn't do my research. Per usual I encountered passive agressive behavior. I was kind and followed instructions. But as I was leaving a comment by the pink haired employee had me perturbed. If everywhere I go since moving here and paying $2310 rent every month is going to get me comments like what she said im over it. Make sure you say, "of course you wouldn't get anything for my items, you shop at tj maxx" to my face instead of when I'm walking out next time. Thanks to everyone else on the staff who welcomed me and was helpful at a busy time in the day. Parking ample and establishment is clean.
Staff was super friendly and answeres my stupid questions, was able to find something I needed for a cosplay, prices were very fair, nice atmosphere. Isles/walkways were a little tight so had to squeeze past other customers or go around to a different one, but was very very nice!! :3💙
I’ve gone to this location several times and have been well received. I’ve sold in the past without issue, and have found a lot of solid deals over the course of my time shopping here. This location is well organized for the amount of stock it has, the staff is welcoming and personable, and has accommodated me well. The lighting and atmosphere is right on the money making for an enjoyable shopping experience. I typically dread thrifting, but not here.
