My mentally ill grandmother has found peace and solace through the help of the good people at United Methodist Church. Her condition is progressing, but the church helps her to have a sense of purpose.

Very nice people, and excellent sermons. Pastor John is the nicest pastor you will ever meet. Very cool guy. You will look forward to attending service here most likely. Enthusiasm, passion, and compassion towards brothers and sisters in Christ is what it is all about. Peace be with You.

I became a member over 57 years ago when I married my wife, Joyce, who has been in this church all her life. The congregation, the church family, is a big part of our lives. All five of our children grew up in this church, were confirmed and active in the youth program that we had at that time. Four are still active members of a church where they live and one is an active member here at Bristol United Methodist Church. Recently, we have gone down in membership, but we look forward to new people coming to join in our fellowship. We are a committed, caring and welcoming church and would love to see new and/or established residents come to worship with us.

We started attending Bristol over 15 plus years ago when our grandkids wanted to get involved with the youth program that was active at the Church. We enjoyed the Church, the teachings of the Bible, and the friendliness of the people that we soon became members. My husband and I are still members. I am sure you and your family would feel as welcomed as we were made to feel and would enjoy being a member of our congregation.

I have been attending this church for 50+ years. We have been struggling lately but we are making a comeback. If you are looking for a church to grow with, a church where everyone knows you and accepts you unconditionally, and a church where your fellow members become family, then Bristol United Methodist Church is where you want to be.
