It is nice to be able to drive to an area to enjoy the beach front along Lake Michigan. I as a runner have come to run on the beach over the years but have also run thru the park on the trails and road. People come to camp at the park during the warm months but I hope to do that in the future. My wife would walk with the our dog over the years while I went for a run. It is just a nice place to come enjoy nature…so many things to do …run, bike, walk, camp, cross-country ski on trail, also snowshoe if you have them, so year-round activities with your family or on your own. We always buy state park passes, but this park does have a free parking area just north off the beach. Yes, this is a nice place….

Not actually a visitor center. Looks like a space you could rent. There's an informational sign outside, bathrooms that are locked during the evening (but there is also a separate pit toilet). The Park Office of the campground will have the most information.

It doesn't seem like an actual visitors center. Locked up on weekdays. Restrooms can be accessed from the outside and are clean. Looks like possibly a rentable building.
