Beautiful place, and the wines do not disappoint. Tried all the current wines and liked all of them. Great place, you should visit! Some Wisconsin grapes and other varieties. We will be back! Soon!!!

Had a wonderful time at the winery. Our host Grace was so informative and joyous. We met Fritz the wine maker he was gracious and kind. I highly recommend spending your afternoon there.

We were driving from Baraboo to the Dells and looked up a winery to be able to take a bottle back to our room. What a wonderful experience at Sognefjord Winery. Fairly new after opening in late 2024, they are constantly changing and looking forward to keep modern. Our wine 🍷 steward, Jessica, knew each wine and could discuss the flavors and our preferences with us. We did a flight sample 4 for $6, but we added a few more for $1.50 each sampling. In general, we are sweet wine drinkers and had a hard time picking just one bottle to take with us so we purchased three bottles and finished our visit with a glass of Sangria decorated with fresh fruit. This winery is a family business and the girls enjoyed talking about the history of the name of the winery and we loved learning and listening. We will be stopping by again!

A wonderful place for wine and weddings. Beautiful views....great staff. Family owned....not to mention Great Wine! A joyfilled place.

Sognefjord Winery is a young establishment (has been open for about 1 1/2 years) that is worth a visit. While still relatively small (there are plans to add a new, larger tasting room), with a small offering of wines, I believe they are poised to make their name known. With Norwegian named wines(i.e.: Inger, and Freya), their short list of offerings are sure to please the most discerning tastes. One of these wines deserves a special note. Petra is a port style wine with honey added. While not a mead, you get a beautiful honey flavor to a lightly fortified grape wine. While I don't usually care for port wines, this one was a very pleasant surprise, so much so that a bottle of Petra came home with me. The staff were very pleasant, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to talk to. You could feel their enthusiasm for the winery was evident. I am excited to see where Sognefjord goes in the future and will be stopping by periodically to check in.
