Messianic congregation in Avon for spiritual growth and community
Shuvah has always been my spiritual and religious home. I started attending with my family as a child, and grew up in the congregation. I learned Hebrew with the other children and then studied for and had my Bat Mitzvah here. I moved away for college, but several years later, I came back to my home state and returned to Shuvah and have been back for over a decade. The Rabbi and congregation are warm and welcoming.
Shuvah Yisrael has remained an integral part of my life and that of my family for the past 8 years. Rabbi Saal is a religious scholar who imparts meaningful sermons on a weekly basis and cares deeply about his congregation. The path of spiritual growth can be a difficult and trying one, but is well worth the effort if you choose to prioritize it within your life.
Shuvah Yisrael is a synagogue to recharge your spirit and soul with a vibrant service, a congregation to grow and develop in Messianic Judaism scriptures, a synagogue to come in contact with the Most High. I have been coming to service for more than 15 years and I cannot think of any other place I would rather be on Shabbat, but Shuvah Yisrael. Love Shuvah Yisrael.
Their website was spot on when it said," It is a warm and welcoming community". Attended my first Shabbat Worship with Rabbi Paul Saal and I look forward to the next opportunity to learn more. Praise Hashem for guiding me to this congregation.
I have been a member of Shuvah Yisrael for many years. It has always been a most welcoming place for community and fellowship. I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this congregation.
