I rarely leave negative reviews, but my stay from May 15 to May 17 was one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. I booked a King Suite because I expected a comfortable, quality stay. Unfortunately, that is not what I received. From the moment I arrived, I felt unwelcome. During check-in, the receptionist was rude and dismissive. My card didn't go through on the first attempt because it was dirty and still had the activation sticker on it. Instead of handling the situation professionally, she asked if my card even had money on it. After I cleaned the card, the payment went through immediately. There was no apology for the way I was treated. The problems continued throughout my stay. My King Suite was never cleaned. I wasn't provided with fresh towels, enough toilet paper, or basic housekeeping service. During my stay, I got my period, and because no one cleaned the room or emptied the trash, I had to find a way to dispose of my own garbage. That is completely unacceptable, especially for a suite that I paid a premium for. Before checking out, I requested a late checkout until 12:30 p.m. I was informed there would be an additional fee. I clearly stated that paying the fee was not a problem because the money wasn't the issue. Even so, the staff responded with an unpleasant and unprofessional attitude. By the end of my stay, I felt disrespected and unwelcome. The way I was treated made me feel singled out, and it left me questioning whether I was treated differently because of who I am. Regardless of the reason, no guest should ever be made to feel that way. I have stayed in many hotels over the years and have never experienced customer service this poor. Cleanliness, respect, and professionalism should be standard for every guest. I hope management thoroughly investigates this experience, retrains the staff, and ensures that future guests receive the level of service they are paying for.
