Earlier this summer we had the Schmalz team put our yard back together after a massive house project. They were incredible! We worked with Dan Vechart and he gave us some options to better handle where water went and grading etc. The crew that came and did the work was efficient and even moved our swingset and put it back without us having to ask. The crew leader Jose was great to communicate with while the work was being done. Could not recommend this company more!!

Schmalz is a well-established nursery in Appleton, with a great reputation for stocking healthy specimens of perennials, annuals, trees, and shrubs. You can find almost anything youre desiring for your landscape. Plants are grouped together, with signage to indicate coneflowers, ferns, etc. Many staff members to assist you! They also offer specialists in landscape design. I've been a long-time customer, and Scmalz never fails to exceed my expectations... Highly recommend!

Beautiful garden center, well organized & great options for gifts. Jamie help pick out our pot/plant & even planted. I had 2–3 people ask if I needed assistance… definitely recommend. They also have a wonderful display of herbs 🌿 😊

Knowledgeable and helpful staff! someone came up to me to ask if I had questions and was very helpful and patient with me! He ended up encouraging me to get service berry shrubs! They have a 2 year warranty/guarantee which I believe is the most generous in the Fox cities (at least from what I’ve found) Thank you for my beautiful new serviceberry shrubs!

Schmalz crew led by Ray just did another great job mulching my landscape beds. Such tender care around the new spring emerging perennials! When they left, not one single piece of mulch was left outside of the beds or on the road! Nick Balliet continues to be an awesome communicator. He is TOPS to work with. I highly recommend Schmalz!
