Serving inventive sushi rolls and traditional hibachi grill fare
Our chief was awesome! We took our 3 kids here for the first time. Our youngest being 6 and he was very aware the big flames might be scary and gave us a good heads up before doing them. Great portions and flavor. Do wish we had gotten just a few more shrimp. Steak was tender and cooked perfectly. All 3 Kids said theyd go back!
The food is delicious and the atmosphere is perfect. My husband and I have been gping here every year for our anniversary (15 years). My only recommendation is please devein the shrimp. It really throws off the taste and vibe when you bite into a piece that has not been properly deveined.
Five stars without hesitation. I’ve tried multiple places in Appleton over the years, but somehow I always end up coming back here for dinner every single visit. The sushi is consistently fresh, beautifully prepared, and the service always makes you feel welcome. You can tell they genuinely care about quality and the customer experience. Easily my favorite sushi spot in the Appleton area.
I feel like they changed the way they serve their salmon. Which is very disappointing. I was obsessed with their salmon that was sliced on the grill into squares and perfectly seasoned. Like much of the restaurant industry and increasing prices- I do understand. Just sad. I travel a lot and that is what always kept them above any other hibachi restaurant local and out of state. I will say the rest was delicious and the same I have loved for years
Great food & the chefs even customized rolls for us. (If you want it spicy- they can make it SPICY! Also able to take off some spice for those of us with more WI palettes). Athena was a fantastic server even making the birthday meals an extra special treat! The bartenders were also very good with recommendations & sampling beers when we were undecided. Highly recommend! Also keep in mind there will likely be a longer wait time so be sure to plan for it on the weekend- it’s worth the wait.
