Arrived with a group of 9 on a Friday evening at 6:30. Plenty of seating and the restaurant was busy. Ordered some drinks and some starters. Waiter informed me that it would be an hour wait for our order. Drinks and starters were great. A rather long wait for our dinner. Most of our party thought that the food was very good. One exception was that one of the ladies perch were a little long in the fryer. I would recommend The Kountry Bar. But be prepared for a wait.

Excellent venue to see live music. Always good bands, with no cover charge. A nice alternative to downtown Appleton. Drinks are reasonably priced.

Stopped tonight while driving through Appleton and loved it! Fish fry was good, old fashioneds were great. Service was excellent, our server (Brad?) was so kind and accommodating! Liked the live music + a fun atmosphere :)

Looked up “best fish fry near me” and this place popped up! And it was so close to us, so we decided to give it a shot. Fish was delicious!! Service was great!! Atmosphere was pretty chill for a dive bar, a lot of places to sit so we had no issue there for a Friday night. We will definitely be back!

Ghost pepper burger with blueberry preserves and onion fries was good but not as spicy as you'd expect. Sweet potato fries were a nice addition. Great variety of beers on tap.
