Survivors Weekend

Glacier Valley Campground hosts Survivors Weekend from October 2 to 4, 2026. Cancer survivors camp for free, and cabin rentals are 50% off for them; normal rates apply to others. You can honor those who have battled cancer and support cancer research. Activities include 50/50 and meat raffles, a silent auction, and luminary bag decorating with a lighting ceremony on Saturday. This year, you can sponsor a campsite before September 11, 2026. Proceeds benefit the Spierings Cancer Foundation. Saturday, October 3 is free and open to the public. Spierings Cancer Foundation is a non-profit organization in Appleton that provides financial support to local families affected by cancer. We also work to enhance medical care for cancer patients in the Fox Cities. Our team funds cancer research specifically in Wisconsin. We offer financial assistance grants to families struggling due to cancer battles and grants for clinical and translational cancer research. We collaborate with local hospitals and cancer centers to help purchase equipment and fund special services that improve patient care. We operate Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 8 AM to 4 PM.
