The Suitcase Junket is the musical project of songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Matt Lorenz. Performing as a one-man band, Lorenz uses a collection of salvaged and adapted instruments, including a suitcase bass drum, custom percussion, and slide guitar, paired with throat-singing vocal techniques.
His music blends dark folk, garage rock, blues, and Americana. Lorenz has released multiple studio albums and maintains an active touring schedule across North America and Europe, performing at venues and music festivals.
