Along with some of the region's best wines, this winery offers some of the best views. We've visited many wineries in the area and were struck by how many wines in the Danzinger repertoire were delicious. Even the area's commonly used Marquette grape, which I've rarely found palatable, was crafted into delicious wines by their winemakers. The tasting room and seating areas, both indoor and outdoor, are comfortable and complement the beautiful Mississippi Valley views. This stop is a "must-do" on an Upper Midwest winery tour!

The most perfect venue!! We booked our wedding at Danzinger in April 2025 and got married in July 2026. From the moment we toured we knew this was going to be out venue. Paul and Madison are nothing shy of amazing! The booking process was super easy and they are so transparent with all details! Madison is super helpful with planning timelines and making sure you have everything you need! We had our rehearsal and dinner at the venue the night before and it was perfect!! We were able to set everything up and leave it all there overnight, and we rented the Winery portion for the dinner and catered HyVee, it worked out so nicely!! Day of our wedding was literally perfect!! Paul and Madison were so so helpful and made sure our day was running smoothly!! We got so many compliments on what a beautiful venue we chose, and I seriously cannot recommend a place more!!

From the moment we first toured The Overlook at Danzinger Vineyards, we knew we’d found the place we would say yes to forever at. Paul and Madison made our wedding day beyond anything we could have imagined. They handled every behind the scenes detail with such grace so we could relax and be fully present on our big day. They allowed us to make our day as much like us as possible, it was truly such a gift and honor to have our wedding here. We booked in October 2024 and married in May 2026, and it was incredible to see how much love and intentionality they’ve poured into the venue over that time period. Every corner is thoughtfully designed to be both beautiful and practical for their couples. Throughout the day they checked in often but never intruded, anticipating our needs before we even knew we had them. They made sure the pavilion temperature was perfectly comfortable for us. They did all the little things that made such a huge difference. Paul and Madison went above and beyond in ways big and small, and their kindness, professionalism, and joyful spirits made our day feel effortless and deeply meaningful. We are forever grateful to them for giving us such a perfect, unforgettable wedding. We cant wait to come back for each anniversary and spend time there again! If you’re considering a wedding at The Overlook at Danzinger Vineyards, this is the place, everything you could dream about. Bonus that Paul and Madison are everything you hope for and more. Also all your guest will be OBSESSED with the location/venue!!

Choosing Danzinger Vineyards for our wedding was the BEST decision we could have ever made! We got married there last July and couldn’t have imagined our day anywhere else. We were planning from out of state with no local family nearby (from Des Moines, IA and SE WI) and everything came together perfectly, even the smallest details! Paul and Madison were absolutely wonderful to work with and great communicators. There had been a wedding the night before and we were amazed at the quick turnaround — Madison handled it like a pro. Everything was ready for us to set up the next day! A sweet personal touch: my husband spent the evening looking for a whiskey cup for his old fashioned (we managed to forget one and he wanted one instead of a plastic one) and Paul and Madison not only went and got him one, but they ordered some for future couples and guests too. They are amazingly responsive and genuinely care about every couple that had their wedding there, which is so incredibly special. Our guests couldn’t stop raving — many said it was the most beautiful wedding they’d ever attended, and everyone loved the Alma/Wabasha area and staying at small rental properties so close to everyone else in Alma. It was truly our dream wedding and we wouldn't change a thing!

We couldn't have picked a more incredible place to have our October wedding this past year! It was the only place we toured and immediately knew it was the one. From the gorgeous and spacious venue, the breathtaking view atop the bluffs overlooking the Mississippi River, to the small town charm Alma, WI has to offer! This venue had everything we could dream of. Not to mention, Paul and Madison were so wonderful to work with. They have great tools that helped us to feel prepared and organized leading up to our day. They both communicate quickly, kindly, and always with excitement for our big day. They feel like friends we've known for a long time! Our DJ ended up breaking down 30 minutes out of town about an hour before he needed to be set up and Paul drove out to pick him and all of his equipment up, drove him to a motel after the wedding around midnight and brought him and his equipment back to his vehicle the next morning. None of which we knew until the day after! This is just one of the many ways they made our day flow smoothly and feel perfect despite any mishaps. We could not recommend them and the Overlook at Danzinger Vineyards enough and can't wait to go back to visit!
