Very nice place to relax by the sea. Reasonable food prices for beach side. Looks like a decent place to swim too. They have fresh coconuts, coco loco, and the curry pizza roti is a must try !! They’re open day and evening - evening access via beach next to Cha cha at low tide. , or from the road - but it’s super dark and easy to miss (looks closed from road due to lack of lights in the road entrance and down the dirt path). Use a torch ! Maybe one day there will be lights there to help make it easier to see at night

We discovered this place while kayaking from our hotel. The couple who runs it are wonderful, friendly people, and the lady makes the best pineapple smoothie ever. The place is relaxed and cozy, you feel like you could spend the whole day there, enjoying and resting without any pressure. We’re sorry we didn’t try the food, but we hope to return to Koh Mak, and it will be the first thing on our list

Nice place for having a drink or Thai food… Beautiful beach, wild.. perfect for relaxing… Edit 2 years later ; Still a beautiful place to relax, chill. Food is so delicious and at fair price. Was really nice to come back here..

This is the hidden Gems in the island. Food is incredibly good and the owner run it all with his wife, which are super friendly.All dishes are come great price and portion. Atmosphere are super greenish, peace, and you can feel in love with the sea breeze.

There are no words for how delicious the food is! I loved every bite of every meal ♥️ can’t recommend this place enough, Micky is such a welcoming and funny host and his wife is the best chef I’ve had a pleasure to meet. trip to Koh Mak is not complete without visiting Monkey Shock!
