I booked a ferry ticket in their office and later on needed to make some changes, the staff was very supportive & friendly. Besides that, their beach-side restaurant/bar is a great place to hang out in the evening.

We rarely write negative reviews, but in this case we feel a clear warning is necessary — we would strongly advise against booking this property in its current condition. We stayed in Pool View Room No. 1, and the room had an extremely strong damp and musty smell that became almost unbearable during our stay. After looking more closely, we discovered visible mold in several areas, including directly behind the bed where we were sleeping. This is not a minor cleanliness issue but a serious hygiene and potential health concern. To make matters worse, even the fresh towels provided in the room were visibly stained. We reported the issue multiple times during our stay. Unfortunately, no alternative room was available, and the property itself did not offer any effective solution or compensation. We were clearly informed that this would have to be handled externally and that the accommodation would not refund any part of the stay. Based on the condition of the room, this did not appear to be a recently developed issue. For a total price of approximately 235€ for three nights, we expected at the very least a clean and safe environment. In our opinion, the accommodation did not provide acceptable value for money. The location of the property is very good and the outdoor areas are well maintained. Until the moisture and mold problems are properly resolved, we strongly recommend that future guests inspect their room very carefully — or consider choosing another property.

The food is nice. The staff is a bit disoriented but polite. You eat at the beach so it was totally worth it. A few vegan options but if you are a big group, go before you are hungry.

We chose this hotel for its location and we were not disappointed. Beautiful setting near the beach although the swimming pool and restaurant is between the rooms and the beach. Room comfort was excellent, very spacious and good size bathroom. The hotel has a both cafe and a restaurant offering great food and drinks. The restaurant whilst slightly higher prices, had great choices with excellent quality. There are plenty of other restaurants nearby also. The hotel helped to arrange a moped and our onward travel. Highly recommended.

A beautiful little hotel on a great beach. Our room was set beside the pool which was perfect. The only issue was that the girl at reception allowed a couple of ladies to use our pool for free! It made us wonder why we paid a premium for a hotel with a pool, when we could stay at the hostel across the road and use By the Sea’s pool!! The room cleaning ladies were absolutely wonderful. Fast, friendly and super efficient. The cafe was pretty decent although the service was a bit hit and miss. We ate in the restaurant the first night and we thought the food was absolutely excellent. However we revisited a few nights later and it seemed very different. There were locals eating a takeaway a few tables away, and the wait staff didn’t seem to be able to speak English which led to a lot of confusion over our order. The chef was involved but was no help as he seemed to be “under the influence “ !! We decided to use the free bikes to tour the island but apparently everyone of them was broken. Luckily the reception girl found us a golf buggy rental which was perfect. The hotel is really well situated for restaurants that you can walk to , and Cafes for breakfast. In conclusion, this is a great hotel that just needs few tweaks and to up the customer service a little.
