I stayed at the resort from March 24–26, 2026, with my family of four, and we booked two rooms. The hotel is located in a very good area—peaceful, not crowded, and offering a high level of privacy. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the staff took excellent care of us. There were plenty of activities to do, so we never felt bored. Most importantly, during a kayaking trip, my husband had an accident and dislocated his shoulder. Fortunately, a hotel staff member was with us at the time. They took great care of us and quickly arranged for us to go to the hospital. We chose the Full Board package, which included all meals and snacks. The food was delicious, fresh, and we could ask for refills anytime. Considering the price we paid, I think it was absolutely worth it. With such excellent service, stunning views, and amazing food, I was able to overlook the minor imperfections. For me, 3 days and 2 nights were definitely not enough—I wish we could have stayed longer.

Resort way overpriced, of course. Still, the main thing is all this rubbish, plastics on the beach. Some stuck in some old trees etc. obviously been there for long. So sad to see and probably not what you expect from what could be one of the best beaches in Thailand

Overall, a very good stay. There's a few things that could improve the rating: 1) the fridge in the room made quite a bit of noise during the night. Not pleasant. 2) the food isn't good: it was by far the worst dinner we had out of 5 nights. The breakfast too is very limited and could be improved. However, on the postitives: Spacious, bright rooms. The staff was really nice, always available and very pleasant. The massages were great too. And the beach is very nice as well. I'd recommend the stay.

The hotel is highly overpriced and very bad value for money in my opinion. The only thing that still made our stay pleasant was the exceptionally kind and helpful staff. For an average of THB 11,500 per night (around 360 USD), one would expect a certain level of luxury - especially in a country where a meal costs around 4$. Those expectations are immediately disappointed upon arrival at the Wendy. The entrance street is not curated at all and arriving at the reception feels more like a staff or service entrance. The reception itself looks dated and reminded me of an Italian 2-star hotel from the 1980s. The location directly on a beautiful beach is without doubt the hotel’s biggest asset. The staff is genuinely friendly and reception service works well for scooter rental and ferry bookings. Unfortunately, almost everything else feels below the price level. The exterior wooden panels no longer look like real wood and give the building a slightly industrial, brick-like appearance instead of a boho or tropical feel. The rooms are nicely decorated, but all other areas of the hotel lack style, maintenance and attention to detail. The mattress is quite hard, the curtains do not block light properly and are awkwardly divided into multiple small parts. There is no thin privacy curtain, meaning people from the pool or opposite rooms can see inside. Doors are difficult to close/lock due to warped wood. The shower and bathtub area is very spacious but looks old and reminded us of a hammam (some might like this). The sink siphon leaked occasionally, although staff tried to fix it right away. We also noticed moss near the ceiling inside the room. Beach towels left fabric residue on the skin after use. The garden and grass area behind the beach is poorly maintained, even though it is not large and would not require much effort to keep in good shape. The breakfast buffet offers variety but the quality is rather low: Asian dishes are often cold, bread is sliced extremely thin, cheese is left uncooled in 28°C heat, the omelette is average and the coffee bitter. The hotel is owned by the same company as other properties on the island, and the nearby Peter Pan hotel looks even worse, with roofs appearing close to falling apart. Overall, this is a 2–3 star hotel with an amazing location. Nothing would be wrong with it if the price were significantly lower, but at its current rates it simply does not justify the cost.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and couldn’t be happier with our experience. First and foremost, the staff truly deserve special recognition — everyone was extremely polite, welcoming, and incredibly helpful at all times. Their genuine kindness made us feel comfortable from the very first moment. The breakfasts were another highlight of our stay. They were excellent, with a great variety of high-quality food, everything fresh and beautifully prepared — definitely something we looked forward to every morning. The hotel is located directly on a stunning beach, which made the whole experience even more special. We spent four nights here and enjoyed every single one of them. Overall, we were very satisfied and would happily return in the future. Highly recommended!
