Traditional Thai massage treatments in Ko Kut
The massage at this center was excellent. As others have mentioned, the staff seem to have a medical background and tailor the massage accordingly. Before starting, they measured our blood pressure and asked about any issues we might have. The only downside was that they didn't wash our feet before the massage.
Went twice, first time amazing experience. The lady working there has magical hands and uses her deep based traditional knowledge during the Thai massage to really go for any painful muscles and joints. Second time I got the youngish guy, sadly that was a huge disappointment. He answered a phone call while ‘massaging’ the feet halfheartedly, left for a toilet break during the massage, skipped the neck and did the head with one hand while swiping on his phone with the other the last 15 minutes. Sadly really not worth the money. If you request or get lucky with the experienced lady, absolutely worth the money and time- expect a real Thai medical treatment.
Best massage you can get on the island I think. The staff is knowledgeable and do treatments right for your problem zones. I also had a cupping session there. The staff is very attentive and all have medical background . So it’s not your “constantly on the phone or eating” type of cuddle massage . It’s the real deal if you want medicinal perks out of your session. Book your appointments prior. I love this place. They help me with my problem zones and recommend how to carry on with it on your own when you leave koh kood.
You should keep in mind that this is not a spa. You will not get a "beauty salon" treatment here. Here, you get the "real deal" massage. The therapists know what they're doing. This is a health center, so they ask you first what your problems or pains are. I really enjoyed my Thai massage, even if it was hard (I was completely fine with that). I felt fantastic afterward. I recommend getting an appointment previously because patients are being treated here. Highly recommend.
Best thai massage I ever had. Lovely team and they ask you about your problems, surgeries and check your blood pressure.
