The owner was pleasant, kind, and helpful. We didn't try the food. But that wasn't a problem, as there's a store and some good cafes nearby. We booked a bungalow with a fan, not air conditioning. There were no mosquitoes, just harmless cicadas and a cool gecko nearby. The bungalow itself is brand new, but ours is the one with the fan. Some of the windows don't close completely, but there were no issues. The sounds of nature and the jungle were wonderful, and it was quiet at night. I'd still recommend installing screens everywhere, though. Overall, everything was comfortable; we felt at one with nature. Next time, we'll book the one with air conditioning. Thanks to this mini-guesthouse! Clean and quiet, what more could you want for a great vacation!
