RE: SNORKELING! My husband and I discovered a lovely snorkeling and tour guide company on Koh Kood...Meow's Koh Kood Adventures. Fair warning …prepare to be amazed! Meow picked us up in her truck where we were seated inside on comfortable seats and air conditioning...and it was a guided tour all the way to the launch site in perfect English. The kayak-a-maran was waiting to accompany us along a spectacular coral reef with an abundance of fish and marine life. The experienced and helpful guide set us up to drift with the gentle current to minimize fatigue and maximize amazement all the while towing the kayak-a-maran as a safe haven if needed. I could even snorkel in the shade of the rig when I got concerned about too much sun. Our adventure culminated with anchoring at a 'restaurant' on an otherwise uninhabited island where we ate the most delicious and freshest seafood lunch we have ever had. Without local knowledge no one would suspect a restaurant existed within this rustic conglomeration of spaces but I was blown away! Imagine your intimate group of 2 being comfortably whisked away for a private tour of sight seeing, snorkeling, adventuring and eating while the rest of the world melts into oblivion for about 4 hours.
