Colorful accommodations with an infinity pool and direct beach access
To all the prior comments regarding the Cockatoo, he's gone, cage gone, hopefully to a better place. 🙏 🤷. Place itself was amazing, very quiet in July which is nice. Got an upgrade to a villa which was nice, staff always helpful. Restaurant is good.
Location : Situated in a private long white beach where you can relax quietly or swim in crystal clear water in front of the hotel. Booked a beachfront villa (only 4 villas) as there were not a lot of choices to choose from when booking. The villa is clean and so spacious, bathroom is so huge with wet and dry zone and bathroom amenities (shampoo, conditioner, soap, hair dryer). Bed is comfy as well. Air conditioner takes time to cool down the room but that's not a concern. Service : Staff is good, exp. restaurant staff. Breakfast has a variety of food everyday and Thai curry is very delicious and taste authentic. (I personally praised the chef). Evening bar and restaurant were great with food and vibe. Happy hour drink offers cheaper price during an evening. There is a live music band every day. There are also kayaks for free to use and a swing in front of the beach. Con : You have to insert the room key and take out every time you enter and leave a room which is not convenient in terms of air conditioner and lights in the room. Overall, I had a good experience at this hotel.
A Great Base for Exploring Koh Kood We generally enjoyed our stay at this resort and found it to be a solid choice for exploring the island. Here is a breakdown of our experience: The Highlights Accommodations: Our bungalow was very clean and well-maintained throughout our stay. Facilities: The swimming pool is excellent for actual swimming. We were also impressed by the gym; it’s air-conditioned and well-equipped, including a good treadmill. Breakfast: The breakfast was decent. They prepare eggs (omelets, scrambled eggs, etc.) fresh to order, which we appreciated. Convenience: You can rent good quality scooters directly from the resort for 300 BHT, which is the best way to see the island. Things to Consider The View: It is important to note that about half of the beach view is dominated by a large pier. Throughout the day, boats dock there to unload stones and gravel. We knew about this beforehand, so it didn't ruin our stay, but don't expect a pristine, uninterrupted horizon. Noise Issue: On one of the nights, the local staff had a party that lasted until 2:00 or 3:00 AM. They were playing loud Thai music and laughing loudly. Even though our bungalow was in the second row, it was quite difficult to sleep. We are easy-going travelers and didn't make a formal complaint, but for guests seeking total peace and quiet, this might be a dealbreaker. Summary Despite the minor noise and the industrial view at the pier, we had a positive stay. If you are looking for a clean, active base with great facilities to explore Koh Kood, we would definitely recommend it!
The hotel is in a great location, especially the beachside, which is beautiful and relaxing. The rooms are comfortable, and the housekeeping service was satisfactory. The property itself has good potential. However, the service experience was disappointing. During both check-in and check-out, the reception staff were not welcoming, and the interaction felt unfriendly and inattentive. As the front desk represents the first impression of the hotel, this significantly affected our overall experience. We also experienced issues at the restaurant, where some items we ordered were not served, and follow-up communication was unclear. Due to this, we chose to dine outside for several meals. While a few staff members were helpful and kind, the overall service lacked consistency and professionalism. We hope the management will focus on improving customer service standards, as it would greatly enhance the guest experience.
Small, beautiful resort on the beach. Accommodation in new villas with a large bathroom. I appreciate the wooden walkways on stilts directly from the accommodation to the beach. Part of the beach is beautiful grass and part is beautiful sand. An ideal place for snorkeling. Restaurant by the pool on the beach. European and domestic dishes. Pleasant live music will make the evening more enjoyable. The resort has a beautiful pool overlooking the sea and a gym. The resort is almost suitable for people with physical disabilities. If they could make a few wooden ramps, it would be completely barrier-free. Two shops, decently stocked, are next to the resort. A place suitable for complete relaxation and walks on the beach. The sea is turquoise.
