Serving Thai dishes including khao soi and fresh papaya salad in Ko Kut
Really friendly staff, cute atmosphere and really good food! We had khao soi and we loved the noodles, they were so chewy although there were only few pieces of chicken inside and not a whole chicken leg as traditionally cooked. The papaya salad was huge and so fresh! Our Highlight was the mango sticky rice, the rice was hot and the mango was incredible sweet. Just perfect. You should definitely check this place out.
This cafe has delicious drinks and a diverse breakfast menu. The glassware is beautiful. The shop has been renovated and moved from the opposite side of the street, and it's even better than before. Anyone visiting the island should try it. The prices are also reasonable.
What a beautiful little place. The food is great, the service outstanding and the little chickens in the table to call for a server are actually so fun. I am on the hunt for the best Mango sticky rice in Thailand, this one is not the best I had, but it’s a solid 8/10.
We visited Black Banana on our third night on Koh Kood – and ended up coming back every single evening after that. No matter what you order, everything is incredibly delicious. You place your order by pressing a little toy chicken, which adds a fun and charming touch to the whole experience. On request, they also prepare different types of fish, depending on what was freshly caught that day. The staff and the owners are warm, welcoming, and unbelievably kind. We always felt comfortable and well taken care of. Highly recommended!
Amazing restaurant! We went there for dinner twice (sadly we did‘t try it earlyer). The whole restaurant is very clean and lovley decorated. The staff was very welcoming and attentiv. For example they repeatet our order to make sure nothing got lost in translation. They eaven cleaned of our motorcycleseat as we left, because it rained while we were there. The Food was easely among the best we‘ve hat throughout our travels in Thailand. The presentation of food and drinks was very nice, as visible in our pictures. The starters came accualy first and very fast at that. The main dishes came very quick aswell. They have a good selection from very affordable dishes (100 Baht) to more pricier options. All absolutly in the ballparc for the island. Ours was all well worth the money. Another big plus for me personaly are the fans throughout the restaurant. As we went in the eavening the island has a lot of moskitos. The fans keep them away, without beeing a nucence. I didn‘t get a single sting both times we were there. For me i‘s an absolute must try if you visit koh kood!
